Ok I don’t think I’m saying anything that hasn’t been said before but I want to post a bit of a Tamber ramble bc I am brainrot for them again

I feel like Richie and Amber have a really cool character contrast in relation to how they treat their respective partner (or best friend if ur boring and don’t ship tamber)

Richie is purely in his relationship with Sam to stage the murders, post reveal he literally says he wanted to be the one to kill her, and then on the other hand, Amber literally has about 3 chances to kill her throughout the movie- even if you don’t count the hospital scene as a moment where Amber could have definitely killed off Tara, it was literally to the duo’s detriment that Amber didn’t kill her off in all of these moments.

I love the idea of Amber just being toxically over protective of Tara, I mean we see it in the bar scene where wes says something along the lines of “oh so no guys are good enough for her, and now you’re protecting her from her own sister?” I rlly like to think that as well as being obsessed with the Stab franchise there’s another motivation for her based on her hatred towards Sam, which pretty much stems from her overprotectiveness of Tara.

Like I don’t think Amber was dumb enough to think that she and Richie wouldn’t have to kill Tara in the end, but I feel like she had this dread of killing her that made her try to delay it for the longest time possible

“I hate the Scream franchise.” Now replace the Scream franchise with gay people, not so funny now is it?

“how can you ship them, they tried to kill/hurt each other?” oh my god, i’m sorry that i can’t control fictional characters’ murder impulses. my bad/s
